Herb Pot Packaging: A Sustainable Alternative to Plastic

In collaboration with Timo Luukkonen, we designed a packaging solution for herb pots as part of the course User-Centered Design. The assignment challenged us to create a cardboard package to replace plastic, offering a more environmentally friendly option.

Our prototype focused on basil, and the process included user research and iterative prototyping. The final prototype was laser-cut from cardboard, combining functionality and sustainability. The project also involved elements of graphic design to enhance the packaging's visual appeal and usability.

This project highlights a user-centered approach to design, with a focus on sustainable materials, practical prototyping, and aesthetic refinement.
